I told you everything
Opened up and let you in
You made me feel alright
For once in my life

Now all that's left of me
Is what I pretend to be
So together, but so broken up inside
Laurel never asked for help. It was below her. She couldn’t figure out why she would ever need to ask for someone’s help beside Damien’s casual tutoring ever since he found out she was intelligent and just played a big game. Dahl was M.I.A, Jas was currently cozying up to the boy she wished to be, and still giving her the cold should because of Thad, who she tried to break up with but was so controlling refused the entire situation to even be happening. Then she had to go home because low and behold her father was caught in his dirty deeds and thrown away to rot. Her mother didn’t know how to take care of herself because her father was so incredibly controlling that she now sat around and did absolutely nothing. She hated them all. Yesterday was her first day back and today was not going according to plan. She was simply going to implode. She had gone down to the pitch to fly to get it out of her system which resulted in several bugs to the face and her landing in the stands. Laurel didn’t want to admit that she had issues with trusting people, that she was in fact about ready to imploade. She needed someone she could trust. Ever since Dani left she had to turn to Damien for more tutoring and somehow she was going to have to find a friend elsewhere because Dahl, Jas, weren’t doing the trick.
She spotted someone running. She sighed in defeat tell Sage her problems? Was that really going to cut it? Sage probably didn’t want to be bothered with her trifle concerns but at this point she knew she had to tell someone. Damien was probably already snogging in some corner with Jas and she was stuck. This was her only chance. Laurel mounted her broom and saw where Sage collapsed after her run. Laurel landed and stashed her broom for safe keeping. This was going to kill her. Laurel Flint was going to be asking for help. She always blamed her family’s bad luck on her Great Aunt and Uncle. Her Father’s father was always trust worthy and did what he was told but his younger brother and seer little sister messed up is perfect life. It was said that the Flint line was to be cursed with bad luck. Considering how stupid the Flint’s were that followed Laurel wasn’t entirely convinced it was ‘bad luck’. She inhaled sharply before stepping out into the open. ”I see at least one of us is keeping in shape for Quidditch season,” Laurel started. It wasn’t going to cut it. She was going to have to come out and just say it before she lost Sage’s attention.
Laurel fiddled with a strand of hair gazing down to the girl. She was going to regret everything she said. She didn’t care at this point anymore. If things got out and people hunted her down then so be it. What was the worse Sage could do? Stir up the already screwed up Slytherin house? She could out her father but that was just a matter of time before it showed up in the Prophet and everyone would know. Laurel shook her head dropping both of her hands. ”Look, I have…I have a question—or more of a--,” Laurel struggled seeking desperately for the words she needed to say. ”You see I—“ Laurel dropped down to her knees leaning back on her haunches staring at Sage almost begging her to not make this more painful then it had to be. ”I need to do that thing—friends do—for—each other,” Laurel could feel her stomach tightened as she realized Sage would have no idea what she was talking about unless she just came out with it. ”Talk—talk I need to talk,”Laurel shouted the ending. Her chest heaved up and down, her hair bright red as she realized this wasn’t exactly a way to start out a normal conversation. Laurel’s hair faded slowly to blonde as she looked down to her hands. ”I don’t know what to do Sage,”
Swallow me then spit me out
For hating you, I blame myself
Seeing you it kills me now
No, I don't cry on the outside
