FRASER ZENO LEPORARIUS
name: Fraser Zeno Leporarius
age: 24
date of birth: 2nd of June
occupation: Journalist for the Daily Prophet
bloodstatus: Pureblood
wand: Laurel with dragon core, 13", rigid
broom: None- - - - - - -
height: 5'11"
weight: 155lbs
general description: Fraser would class himself as a generally good-looking guy. He's of an average sort of weight, although slightly taller than other males his age. He has long, dark lashes framing his hazel eyes. And, Merlin, you can tell a lot from his eyes. Fraser can keep his facial features expressionless but it's harder to keep whatever he's feeling out of his gaze; which is probably while you'll often find him wearing an obnoxious pair of raybans.
face claim: Ezra Koenig- - - - - - -
likes: Junk food, manipulating people, music, dancinglike a dad, his preppy, muggle fashion taste, getting revenge, being the centre of attention.
dislikes: Arrogance in others, being opposed, cold weather, flying, appearing weak in any way, being ignored, other famous wizarding families, anything he deems 'boring'.
strengths: His patronus (an inherited strength within the Leporarius family), concealing his emotions, duelling.
weaknesses: His temper, the many insecurities in his head that bother him, once he gets attached to a person Fraser literally obsesses over them.
dementor: Shortly after turning seventeen, Fraser took advantage of his freedom by visiting an old enemy of his family. Unfortunately, he'd underestimated the older wizard that he'd attempted to duel (perhaps to the death). Fraser ended up in St Mungo's for a while, after he'd lost. Truthfully, the greatest amount of damage had been to his pride. His opponent had taken pity on the young wizard; making up excuses when he delivered him to the hospital, allowing him to live. Now, though, he's long gone. Still, it had been a severe moment of weakness that serves to fuel his anger to this day.
boggart: Heights
mirror of erised: To find someone he can fully trust (other than his twin), to grow in popularity within the wide world of journalism, to be respected by everyone.
amortentia: Blood, coffee, pansies, ginger
veritaserum He gains a lot of classified information and gossip from his sister, who works at Hogwarts. Also, Fraser's done his fair share of illegal things - torture, killings, the whole works.- - - - - - -
mother: Lilith Leporarius
father: Zeno Leporarius
siblings: Bast Leporarius (twin sister)
pets: Reginald the toad
history:
Lilith and Zeno Leporarius had only been expecting one child, so it came as a bit of a shock to the couple when they ended up with twins. Still, it wasn't like this was too much of an issue - they had more than enough money to care for their kids. The Leporarius' are an old, wealthy pureblood family with a lot of land and a lot of respect - though other pureblood families weren't so keen on them since they refused to judge people by their blood status. Despite this, they still mainly marry into other families of their status for the sake of their ancestors, who would be likely to insist they kept their blood pure even now.
Being a part of such a family meant that Fraser and his twin often were forced to attend parties, balls and similar occasions and interact with many people. So, from a young age he realised that he wanted to be different from everyone else. He wasn't a snob - sure, he had his moments if you pushed him - but Fraser did his best not to judge people before getting to know them. Unfortunately, he took a disliking to most people and found them extremely hard to trust. Fraser developed a horrific temper even before starting at Hogwarts; it took on a sadistic edge after he hit his teens.
Hogwarts was fun, to say the least. Fraser was a generally popular Slytherin that attending the duelling club, as well as joining the choir. He did reasonably well in all aspects of his studies, although he was never the best in his class. Fraser concentrated on himself and others instead of his education. It was more amusing to toy with people and experiment with his magic and his twisted words. But, if you see this side of him, he'll make sure that a) he fully trusts you with everything b) you won't go blabbing to anyone c) nobody will believe you and you'll end up looking like a spiteful dickhead. Or d) you won't be alive long enough to spread any malicious rumours.
Fraser Leporarius isn't exactly a household name but, if somebody brings it up, you're likely to say something like 'Oh, that name rings a bell!' He's a successful journalist for the Daily Prophet, he's been working with them a few years now and has gained skills and popularity over that time. Fraser likes to get the truth out of people in interesting ways. He'll lie and cheat to get what he wants - that's the way it's always been with him.- - - - - - -

A glimmer of amusement flashed in his eyes, seeing that, similarly to the Ravenclaw boy, Leonard had jumped under his touch. He’d been too busy wallowing in self-pity to notice Fraser’s arrival. That was a horrible but truthful way to put it. This kid was lacking in self-esteem and needed to view himself in a better light and maybe – maybe, this wasn’t a promise of any kind – Fraser could help him out with that. That would be a sort of productive challenge to keep him occupied until the end of the year, at least. And for another ally, Fraser reminded himself. He blinked a few times, getting himself to focus on the present moment instead of what could happen in the near future.
Little Leo had moved away from him, not much, but Fraser still noticed it so it was enough. He didn’t comment and sat down beside the Gryffindor, keeping the minimal distance between the two of them. His brows rose, now covered by his messy fringe. Slytherins were all dicks, well, that was an altogether popular opinion. But in Leonard’s experience? Fraser thought he’d picked up on a small group of guys in the year above him that used to bully the halfblood, he didn’t get involved though. That could be what he was hinting to. Fraser felt vaguely alarmed by the insult towards his house and the disrespect both it and himself were being shown. It calmed when the other student apologised. “We’re not all the same. Just like how not all Gryffindors are arrogant arseholes, right? You don’t strike me as that type.” Fraser reasoned. Deep down, he knew he was quite possibly a little bit of a dick from time to time, but that couldn’t be helped.
Fraser felt like Leonard was the opposite of the majority of his housemates; hiding away, inside his shell. He wanted to coax him out and see what he could find. “I’m not going anywhere while you’re in this state, I’m afraid~” Fraser grinned, leaning back against the wall.
