She did it!!' Celia held her books close to her chest. A confused look falling over her face as a small girl ran around the corner with a couple of teachers. Her hand covering a good portion of her face. "That's her! I couldn't miss that ugly mug!" Ugly?! Who did this girl think she was talking to or even about. She had no recollections as to who this little brat was. "Excuse yourself! But, I believe you are terribly wrong badger." A tight grasp came around Cecila's arm tugging her along nearly dropping her books. what was this?! 'Miss. Nott, you're going to sort this nonsense out in detention. And think of what you had done.' This was not happening. She didn't even know this girl and she was being falsely accused."Are you kidding me?! I don't even know her!" The voice of Cecilia filled the halls as she was escorted by the Arithmacy teacher. Her heart skipped beats as she found herself being served detention. This wasn't her. She was never one to get into trouble; and now she was being unlawfully blamed for hexing a sixth year hufflepuff. If only the girl had been within a good range to reach out and strangle her. Did everyone really have this big of a problem with her? All she wanted to do was enjoy her Saturday. Spend it with her brother, or even, some friends. She did promise a small game of chess with her brother, but that was shortly canceled.
Coming to the First floor, Cecilia was hauled into a small classroom. Smaller than any normal classroom. "Surly this isn't constitutional. You haven't even proved that I have done such a thing." Soon her father would hear about this. Possibly contact the system and fight for her rights to walk freely and not get cornered over silly things like this. Hexing a girl? Really? No. If she wanted to do such a thing, she would have made it ten times worse. A mangled body? Death? Okay, not really. But she wasn't going to stand for this. - Slamming her books on the dusty old desk, Celia wrinkled her nose in anger. How would she explain this to Damien. "Sorry, Damie. But I got accused for something I didn't do." She mimicked quietly, running her hands over her face. Was it possible to scream? Or even go after the girl herself. This time she would make it known that it was her and would not deny a bit of it. If she was going to make this girl pay, Celia would go out is pure style. "I'm just letting you know my father will hear about all of this. And then maybe you'll regret sticking me here!" She continued bickering, crossing her arms fiercely; The room was so small and dusty. It was an asthma attack waiting to happen. And it was very unsanitary. Not even code.
We are sending someone to watch you for the next hour, Miss. Nott. So be on your best behavior and maybe we can let this one slide. -Hmm? Cecilia rolled her eyes. She didn't know weather to jump at the man or scream like she had wished to in the beginning. Why did she have to be watched? "Yes, yes. But, I believe I am a big girl and can take care of my own self." The teacher chuckled as he walked out the door. Footsteps echoing the halls as he had greeted a familiar sounding voice. They were, indeed, quick. When they wanted someone punished, they wanted someone punished. Brushing her hair back,s he looked over her shoulder as the door had opened once again. All she caught was a glimpse of the back of the boy's head. Same cloak? Thank goodness. It was someone in her house. Perhaps they would cut her some slack. -- It was up until then that she had noticed who it truly was. Her heart dropped to her stomach. This was going to be fun. What the hell were they thinking? Albus Potter? Head Boy? That made no sense to anyone. Really it didn’t. Albus had a reputation for making a mess of things, for breaking the social norms, for normally landing himself in trouble. So why was he appointed this position? Why was he Head Boy? Did they think it would change him, be able to shape him into the young man he should be? Hell no. All it did was give the boy an excuse to abuse his power. He knew that would eventually blow up in his face, but he didn’t really care. He would cross that bridge once he gets to it. And until then, Albus was going to continue to do what he liked to do and see what happens. The brunette brushed a hand over his head before digging it into his hair. He just had combed his hair but it didn’t feel right, so he did the thing he always did, he ran a hand through it and messed it up.
He had the rest of his day planned. He was going to finish with classes and then stay outside all day and night. Why? Because he can and nobody was going to tell him not to. And so far, so good. He wasn’t having any problems. He went to classes, managed to hand out some detentions, ones that were appropriate and then had lunch. He went back to his classes and managed to stay awake in his History class. All was good. And his day was done. All he needed to do was drop his books off in his room and head on out. Albus left the common room book free and with a large smile on his face. It was going to be a good day, he could feel it. Up until one of the Professors tracked him down. “Bloody hell, no.” he muttered when the Professor caught up to him.
Babysit? He had to go babysit somebody who got caught? That was not part of his plans. And he almost said no too, until the Professor mentioned his responsibilities and pointing out lack of compliance would result in him losing his out of bed duties. They weren’t really duties, but Albus did like being out of bed without being confronted. Defeated he let followed the professor until he came to a door. He didn’t want to be there, but he had no choice. Albus waltz on into the room. His blue eyes scanned the room, only one person sat in there. They wore the same robe as him, so it was a housemate. Albus continued on into the room. What could he make her do that would make up for him missing out on his fun?
The brunette came around and sat on the desk. He folded his hands together and let his eyes fall onto the girl. Dahlia Nott. That was not what he was expecting. “Well look at that, a damsel in distress.” He smirked at her and looked around the room. What hell did Nott even do to get herself in here? “or shall we say, a damsel causing distress.” He looked back at her and raised an eyebrow. The young man sighed. “So this whole,” he unfolded his hands and motioned to the two of them, “detention thing, yeah, not my cup of tea. Lucky for you I have no idea what should be going on.” Lie, he knew what should be happening, but he wasn't going to enforce it. Albus pretended to have no idea what he was doing, “Sad thing is, we’re stuck in here for an hour. So what do you want to do?” he looked at her waiting for some ideas.

Her weekend was officially over, ruined. She may have only needed to spend an our in detention, but it was on the weekend! Weekend! Never in her life at Hogwarts had she served any sort of detention for anything. Surely she had a few altercations with a couple other girls from different houses, but it hadn't gone this far. Being called ugly?! Surely the girl could have thought of something else. Dahl knew she wasn't top model beautiful but she damn well knew she wasn't hideous. And, all due to that girl-that thing, she had ruined her weekend completely. Her plans ruined. And now she was stuck behind four walls about to have someone 'Baby-sit' her when she clearly did not need that. -Brushing some strands of hair from her face, Dahlia began to toss her quip around unsure on how this was going to take place. Unsure on how she would get along with the person who was bound to enter through that door and possibly give her the run around making this impossible for her to even handle it. - There it came, the door opened slowly and this time a little further. Turning het head quickly, she pushed herself from her desk just a little curious as to who would walk in. Finally, the two had stopped talking and the boy in a green clock just like her own had walked in. Her heart skipping a couple beats.
Albus Potter. The biggest clown in her house and year was going to watch her? Seriously?! At least it wasn't someone from another house. Surely she would have a run for her money then. Possibly end up with a second detention for just looking in their direction. - Although, Albus didn't seem ad if he had taken a liking to get much anyway. After all, she was a Nott. And, of course, he was a Potter. The two families dating way back to their grandparents. That was a mess. Swallowing hard, she looked around the room as the door came to a hard slam. "Potter." She smirked lightly, holding her arms with slight force. Her eyes focused on the rusty desk that she had sat near. This was going to be interesting. -Taking in a deep breath, she scrunched her nose gently finally raising her glance towards him. "Be surprised." Dahl spoke softly, shifting her legs to the side crossing them. "I wouldn't speak of myself as a damsel, but it definitely was not my fault." Why was she telling him this? Surely he hated her. And it was a Hufflepuff who had falsly accused me of messing with her looks." Dahlia shrugged simply.
It wasn't often that she had some girl single her out, but when it happened, those girls were vicious. Hungry for bloodshed. They wanted Dahlia to go down in flames and not find her way back out. Why? Who knew, honestly. could be the issues with her last name or family bloodline. And, Dahl knew for sure, Damien wouldn't fuss around with any of that. He knew better than to cross the lines with their father and so did she. The consequences were strong with that man. He was ruthless and held up to his word. It was.... Frightening. There hadn't been many times she wished to step out of line. -- Closing her notebook, Dahlia shrugged her shoulders. Was he really giving her this option? "I don't know what there is that we can do, Potter. I'm on lockdown and I know you don't want to risk what privileges you have." Raising her free hand, she continuously twirled a small strand of hair. "But, if you're up for any risks, so am I" She shrugged, pursing her lips. If he could get the two out of that room or somewhere other than the school, that would have been wonderful. Fulfill her weekend like she had planned. But, she didn't know how far he would be willing to take anything. She had only seen him in his hyper moments. Never serious. Albus looked at her. Well they weren’t going by first names apparently. His blue eyes watched her as she tried to explain herself. He couldn’t care less. She could be innocent, or not. He was still here with her. And that was the main thing that couldn’t be changed. Obviously the Professor thought she did something bad enough to pair her up with Albus. “Well standing next to you, she probably realized her serious lack of beauty and made an unnecessarily big deal about it.” he shrugged. Yeah, Albus didn’t care about family names. If there was a pretty girl near, he was sure to open his big mouth and hit on her. And he could definitely see Dahlia had some looks on her and Albus was not one to be professional. “Just get her back when she isn’t looking. Make your undeserved detention worth it. At least I would do that.” That definitely made Albus sound like a Slytherin.
Risk. Albus’ head perked up at that word. He looked around wondering if anyone was babysitting them. He then looked at her, there was a spark in his eyes. She was speaking to Albus Potter, he was known for getting into trouble and liked risks. The boy looked back at the girl. “You’re going to have to trust me.” He told her completely serious. In order for this to work, he needed to be able to listen to him and not question him. He was going to give her one of his secrets but was sure it was going to be for the best. After all, they both seemed to be looking for away to get around this detention thing and seeing as how the Professors trusted him enough to have him control detention. He was definitely going to take advantage of it.
“Now you are probably questioning why you need to trust me, well,” he begun and jumped off of the desk. Albus went over to the door and cracked it open. His blue eyes went right, then left. They searched the halls. “I’m about to take you on an adventure. I don’t know how much you actually know about this school.” He finally closed the door and turned around to look at her. He was completely grinning. “But I can get us to Hogsmead for a little fun?” Nobody cares if a couple of students managed to get into Hogsmead. They were of age, or at least he was. “Specifically Honeydukes. Hot chocolate sounds pretty good actually. And I’m not horrible company.” He shrugged his left shoulder and stepped to the side. “What do you think?”

Dahlia watched Albus closely. It was surprising to her that he was actually making small talk right now. She was pulling time from his weekend as well; then again, it wasn't he fault at all. She was singled out by someone a little less managed than herself. - Pulling her book close to her chest, Dahl smiled softly at Albus. Did he just really compliment her in a sense? No, he couldn't have. And even of so, she was sure he didn't mean it like that."I think she had had it put for me since day one. And I have no idea why...." Now that she had given it a little more thought, she did recap the girl from first year and it happened to be their second dinner. So maybe Dahlia did start it at first, but she only bumped into the girl spilling red juice all over her school uniform; now that it was done on purpose. But, sadly, the girl had remembered every moment of it. Every second and she still held a strong grudge against Dahl.
Shaking her head, she chuckled. "And well done compliment." Dahlia took a stand and hoisted herself up on the desk. Her books now sitting at her side. Devilishly she chuckled. ""I would love to come at that girl. But, I know my father wouldn't like that too much." Great, referring to daddy. That looked well with her. father, father, father. Truthfully, she was far from being a daddy's girl. She was far from being the apple of his eyes ever since he had allowed certain things to come about in her life scarring her. So, as far as their relationship, it didn't exist. "Unless you wish to do it for me." She joked shockingly. This was the first time in a couple weeks since she had last spoke with Albus. Which, was odd. Usually they were tossing jokes at one another. But, then again, she had allot going in thanks to get kindness.
Dahl tilted her head slowly confused. trust him. What was he going to do? Blow up the classroom. "I am letting you know I don't trust many, Albus." It was the truth. Not ever did she allow a lie to slip her lips; alright, a couple of times. - Pulling her hair to the side she nodded slowly. "I am trusting you." If only her father had heard about this. Trusting a Potter. The one he seeks out to rid of. The muggle born lovers and such; Dahlia would never see the light of day again. Perhaps, he would keep her locked away or severely punished. It was an awful thought, but that was who he had become. A monster and no longer a gentle father.
"An adventure?" Her eyes lit up with excitement as she jumped from her desk watching his piercing blue eyes lock in her direction. Should she do it? Would her brother be angry? "Then how about we get on that adventure, Mr. Potter." Dahlia's voice was calm and relaxing. She knew she could trust in him at this point. After all, who wanted to stick out their weekend in a musty classroom doing absolutely nothing but stare at one another. - Tucking her book inside of her purse, she got up to follow close behind him grabbing his cloak. -- "Anywhere is better than here." She breathed softly, pushing herself to get as close as possible to him so she could see out the door. "And I never said you were horrible company." Wrinkling her nose, she stepped past him smiling brightly. Her heels stricking the ground as she moved further out into the hall. Stopping suddenly, she removed her shoes and placed them away. Right now she didn't wish to get caught, and if albus was willing to make her day better, she wouldn'tryin it for him. "Coming, Albus? Her voice was low, but soft.

Albus knew how to lay it on thick and he was about to do just that, “I know why, jealousy.” He nodded and folded his arms over her chest. “Clearly she is jealous of your beauty.” He then gave her a wink. Albus was not a smooth talker. Actually he usually said the wrong thing and would get a hand to the face. But at the moment, he was actually doing a pretty good job. It wasn’t offensive and it wasn’t as bad as it could be. On Albus’ side though, he did have many he rubbed the wrong way. Either it was his name or his blunt behavior, even his temper along with his fist caused a few enemies. But he never really thought too much about it. He was too busy trying to have fun and living his last year. That was all that matter to him. That and doing pretty good on his NEWTS. He finally made a choice to become an Auror like his uncle.
“Hang with me and that won’t be the only compliment you’ll get.” He smiled at her. It was true though, he was a hopeless romantic and like to tell the truth but also liked making girls feel good. He looked at her. Her life was being dictated by her father. Just that statement told him that. “Your daddy won’t like it, but that’s only if you get caught.” He father wouldn’t know a thing if she was quiet and did the prank correctly. That and Albus wouldn’t give her detention for it. Actually he was pretty sure he’d never give her a detention. She didn’t seem to deserve it yet, well not in his book. There were a lot worse things that could happen and deserve detention. But at this moment, Dahlia didn’t do anything huge and Albus was already thinking of a way to make this afternoon better. He was off to a great start.
She also had trust issues as well, but during these days who didn’t. He was expecting her to say something against him, something maybe along the lines of him needing to earn her trust. But instead, she said she was going to trust him. That was the last thing Albus thought he would hear coming from the daughter of Nott. He heard rumors about her father and well, her father was a top dog in the pureblood community, not to mention he was also said to be a guy you didn’t want to mess with. Albus smiled, “You won’t regret it.” He made that a silent promise.
She questioned him. He would have been worried if it wasn’t for the look on her face. She was definitely his kind of people. “This school holds lots of secrets and a witch with a humped back holds a splendid one. That’s how.” Albus made sense to himself, but to anyone else who had no idea what was going, well, he sounded mad, and she probably thought he was crazy. As he looked out the door, he felt a tug on his robe. He glanced over his shoulder and saw Dahlia practically pressed up against him. He smiled again, “Hello there.” He forgot for a moment what was going on. And just like that she was taking off her shoes and beckoning him onward. “Right!” the boy grinned before grabbing her hand pulling her toward the stair cases. So far no Professors were around they just need to get to the third floor landing. He wasn’t going too fast, but he sure wasn’t taking his time. He then led her halfway down the corridor to a an odd looking statue. He pulled out his wand and mumbled an incantation before touching the tip to the statue. It made an odd eerie sound before a hole opened up. The boy stepped through before offering help to get Dahlia through.

Many of her friends would simply call her stupid. But, dahlia knew better than to listen to her simple minded friends trying to control her every single move. She was a free spirit, and if she wished to skip detention with a Potter boy, then she was going to do so. No one could tell her what to do. Not even her father; yet she was always bowing down to him. - Taking in a deep breath, she looked back to Albus. For the first time in weeks she was finally, willingly, smiling. She hadn’t had this much ambition to skip out on detentions or anything of that sort in years. Her loss of fun had somehow managed to slip out the window and the only thing Dahl had focused on was school; School and her half psychotic father who was now trying to run and ruin her life all in one. Pushing her to do things she didn't. But, that was a whole different subject. Right now, she was hung up on Albus and his escape route.
A smile spread firmly across her face as she had attempted to hide a small blush. Great, she was blushing. Turning to look down the hall, she tried to not focus on him for that moment. ”Thank you, Albus. At least I know someone thinks that. - It’s been months since I have had someone say that and maybe mean it.” Dahlia chuckled moving away from the classroom. Her bare feet pressing against the cool cemented halls- This boy was willing to spend time with her; Willing to get her away from her detention and possibly risk his position as a prefect. Obviously he must have liked her? And, perhaps, her father was completely wrong about them. Singling them out as worthless and lack of fresh air. Always pumping things in her mind forcing her to never speak with them. But, how was she supposed to ignore Albus when he was in her house. Same class and everything. -Not to mention, on the Quidditch team- There was no way in hell she could avoid this kid, and after just a few moments ago. Why would she? He was treating her equally. Not slamming her because their parents despise one another. -- So much ran through Dahlia’s mind, but she didn't allow it to bother her. Her weekend was panning out just right; maybe not the way she had planned, but it was working out. She wasn't stuck up in that school and hearing it from all different ends. Although she would hear it from Laurel and possibly even her brother if he found out she skipped detention with Albus.
Quickly she followed behind him. Her long dark curls bouncing and swaying with every slipper turn she had taken just to keep up with him. She felt… free. Finally able to laugh and not stick to one thing like a cult. Why didn’t she think about hanging out with him in the beginning instead of being a stuck up prude like her father and keep his distance from him. - Not that she had ignored Albus completely, but she wasn’t very social with him. -- Slipping again, she picked up her pace in fear of getting caught. Small spurts of laughter escaping her lips. Her hand in his. ”You really know how to make someone feel free again.” She laughed, finally coming to a stop. There it was - That creepy statue she had seen years before when she and her brother had went gallivanting around. Looking to Albus, she watched him open a small passage way. So this was it. Looking down into the hole, she could feel her heart begin to skip beats. It was very dark. - As she watched him jump into the hole she noticed his hand once again. Nodding, she grabbed it quickly and hopped down before anyone could see them. -- This was when she needed to take a deep breath and become fearless. But, she had help with that. ”Lumos” She spoke softly, lighting the way. Her eyes wide trying to keep a good look out for anything lurking. Then again, it was rather small and filled with cobwebs. No one had been down there in years; so it had seemed.
”You know… I actually enjoy this…” Pursing her lips, she smiled at Albus. Her bright eyes glistening with the illumination of the light. ”But, If I see a ran, you bet your ass I am going to hop up on them shoulders and make you carry me.” She joked finding another smile deep within her. This was shocking. Who knew Albus Potter had such manners. The last she knew, he was slightly arrogant and full of himself. Mostly a class clown. But, here, he was still funny yet… something different came about him. And the way he had treated her. It was.. Nice.

Albus saw the blush, he could not miss it. He was happy she didn’t react badly to his light flirting. Well actually not much flirting, just him being blunt and tell her what was going on his mind. But it all made sense really. Well in his mind it made sense. He watched her for a bit before raising an eyebrow. “Maybe mean it? Maybe? No I meant it.” The guy shook his head and shifted a laugh, alright that was definitely much better than a slap. Albus learned a while back, that judging people by their parents just led to trouble. Maybe people didn’t like him because he was a Potter and then being placed in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor. That definitely didn’t earn him points. Why would a Potter be in Slytherin? What was Albus hiding? Nothing in all honesty. He was just one of the rare good guys of the Slytherin house. Or at least he liked to think he was. It was surprising to find that Ms. Nott was willing to skip out and hang with him. She was a Nott. Part of a large purist community. Any interaction with a Potter would lead to shame, wouldn’t it? But no, here she was agreeing to go along with his impulsive plans.
The halls were pretty clear, surprisingly, but then again most students were doing something more exciting or time consuming to be roaming around. As for the Professors, well hopefully they were definitely a long way from where they were. Albus looked over at Dahlia. She seemed to be having a little bit of trouble with the floor. He smirked a bit but didn’t say anything. “That’s not the only thing I can make you feel.” And there it was, the obnoxious joke. Albus mentally slapped himself, “Uh sorry, I should have not said that.” There were a lot of things Albus wasn’t supposed to say, and did he ever stop, no, he just couldn’t. He spoke before he would think. That was what really got him in trouble. At least he was a gentleman. He helped her into the passage before moving behind her and closing the passage way. There was still light. Albus looked over at Dahlia and smiled. At least she was smart. Albus let her take the lead. There wasn’t anywhere else to go other that forward or back the way they came. Hopefully she didn’t mind spiders. There were bound to be a few crawling around.
For some reason, Dahlia saying that made Albus happy. At least he wasn’t doing everything wrong. Or well, maybe he was just getting a few moments right. “You enjoy walking through dark closings with someone you hardly know? You are some kind of strange Nott.” He teased as they made their way through the tunnel. Albus raised an eyebrow at her. “I’m fine helping the pretty lady.” He smiled at her. They continued on until the passage began leading up. They then came to the end. Albus went up the steps and lifted the latch. He peeked through before he opened it all the way and climbed out. He then offered his hand to Dahlia once more to help her up. “Hot chocolate, here we come.” He smiled at her.

He means it?" Her eyes widened as she looked back to him briefly, a smile slowly forming on her delicate face. Dahlia couldn't believe what she had just heard. Albus Potter called her beautiful? Oh great. This would go over well with her brother - not that he needed to know -. But, still. Albus Potter was conversing with her, wishing to spend time with her and now complimenting her. She could get used to this. Perhaps. - Holding her wand out, she kept it perfectly angled attempting to avoid any living insect. If I can't see them they can't see me. She constantly repeated her her head glancing around every now and then. "Albus...." She cut herself off before taking that conversation any further. The redness of her cheeks stuck as she tried to control her emotions. She was awful. Not quite the pro like her brother nor father. Sometimes she even allowed her emotions to get the best of her. But that was a total different story. "You're adorable." Looking to him, she grinned. Her blue eyes falling on the light of that wand.
There was no way she could look him on the eyes now. Clearly she was looking silly and she knew it. But, it wasn't until Albus spoke up. And, for the first time through their whole conversation, he just had to drop one of his twisted lines on her. - Mouth wide open, she swung around and tapped him on the shoulder. Still in disbelief he would go that far with her. Then again, Damien wasn't around so why not? What would it hurt for a little bit of careless fun between two, now, friends. Or so she had hoped. --Finally seeking the end of the tunnel, she watched Albus dart right past her towards the wooden frame. Slowly she followed behind him up the steps. Looking up, she chuckled at him about his last comment. "I'm some kind of strange? You're the one offering sexual gestures to someone he barely knows in the dark creepy tunnel." Again, she grabbed his hand and hoisted herself out of that hole.
Brushing off the dust, she shut the door behind them. "Cocoa sounds beautiful, trust me.... But I was thinking something a little stronger." Raising both eyebrows, Dahlia looked to the pub. A giant smirk covering almost half of her face. She was feeling... Adventurous. She wanted to live while she had the chance. She wanted to be free. And, shockingly, Albus was able to give her that sort of freedome. He was a wild sort of person. Always thrill seeking, or so it had seemed. Maybe she should have spoke with him more often. Then she wouldn't have been such a damn hermit crab. "What do you say, handsome?" Giving him back what ur had started she winked grabbing his hand. "What's life without a little fun. Besides, its the weekend." Pupling him along, she found herself standing in the doorway of the pub. Unsure of she wanted to open that door.
