I can definitely see these two as friends. They might not understand each other all the time, but Lily would appreciate that he's sort of his own person, and would probably respect him a lot. And with them as prefects and on the same Quidditch team, I think they would be spending a fair amount of time together.

Yes, Damien would see himself as a better wizard than Kian, if for no other reason than their blood status differences. Damien doesn't go out of his way to make someone's life miserable, but if the opportunity presents itself, it's likely that he won't pass it up. He might not believe in killing all of the muggle-borns and half bloods like his father does, but he definitely sees himself as better than them.

Mac isn't opposed to making friends, so if he tried to befriend her, chances are it worked. She loosens up a little once she has a friend, it's mostly around strangers that she tends to close down. And her (eventual) girlfriend is also in Gryffindor and a sixth year, so they've probably been around each other at least a little. Maybe they were paired up in a class during their early years and they developed a friendship that way?

I don't have a whole lot for the others really. Jess is a Ravenclaw and studious, so they might have seen each other from time-to-time in the library. Xavier is sixteen, so he would have started out in Kian's year, but he skipped his second year so he's a year ahead of everyone his age... and he's kind of socially challenged. Jason is a teacher, so he probably just sees Kian as a good student. If Kian wants to be an Auror or Professor or something, Jason might help him out a little. And like with any good student, if Kian needed his help for something (reasonable) Jason would do what he could.
