height: 5’3’’ weight: around 135lbs general description: Edward would never consider himself to be attractive, and therefore has an extremely low opinion of his appearance. If anything, he would consider himself to be average; not having any features that could be classed as extraordinary, he fails to see why anyone would ever wish to pay him any attention. However, he generally blends into the crowd any – a feat extremely easy to accomplish with his short stature and his tendency to wear nondescript clothing. Whenever the need for conversation should arise, Teddy will do his best to avoid eye contact as he finds it extremely hard to hide his feelings – however, his eyes are probably his nicest feature: a mix between grey, green and blue, they’re one of the few things he doesn’t completely detest about himself. face claim: Patrick Stump

likes: rainy days, coffee, music, hedgehogs, sleeping, cake, dogs (specifically corgis), photography, the occasional silence, dancing dislikes: being alone, lightning, broccoli, confined spaces, being judged, intimidation, loud noises, fish, feeling inconsequential, winter strengths: His ability to contemplate over everything, being a good listener, his singing voice (although nobody will ever hear it, if it can be helped). weaknesses: Having next to no duelling ability, shyness, inability to hide his true opinion on any matter whatsoever. dementor: On one of the few occasions when anyone talked to him in his first year at Hogwarts, several third-year students decided to take advantage of his naivety by bullying him verbally. It wasn’t so much the actual event itself that haunts Teddy, however – more the fact that he’d been too cowardly to fight back. boggart: That he’s going to wind up forgotten by everyone, never to matter to a single person; just because he doesn’t like talking doesn’t mean he wants to be alone forever. mirror of erised: To find a friend whom he can actually trust. Also, to not feel judged by anyone whom he meets, and actually being able to socialise - to have a successful career. amortentia: Cinnamon, freshly cut grass, hot chocolate, smoke veritaserum Privately, Teddy wishes that he’d put more effort into making friends at Hogwarts, earlier on in his life – communication may not have been so much of an issue if he’d been bothered about it previously. Additionally, he likes to sing and dance whenever he can be certain that he’s on his own: such an activity is slightly extroverted for him, but… well, everyone’s got to have their guilty pleasures, right?

mother: Nymphadora Lupin (née Tonks) father: Remus Lupin siblings: n/a pets: one corgi called Carlisle (often referred to as ‘Carly’) history: From an extremely young age, it was evident that Edward was never going to be what people generally referred to as ‘sociable’. Much to the worry of his grandmother – Andromeda – the halfblood never really showed signs of having any interest in conversing with others. As a child, he would often spend time on his own or only around the people he knew were trustworthy; refusing to act in a friendly way around any of the new visitors that were brought to the house, he would generally hide away until able to ascertain they had left once more.
No-one could ever understand quite why Edward preferred his own company to that of anyone else, although it wasn’t exactly complicated: being solitary meant that he was unable to be judged. Sometimes, it would be blatant that a witch or wizard wouldn’t mean to criticize him at all – nevertheless, the verdict would always show in their eyes. Unsurprisingly, the redhead didn’t particularly enjoy the disappointment which he so commonly found there, as if it was disheartening that he didn’t show any characteristics of his parents. Sure, Nymphadora and Remus Lupin may have been two well-respected individuals recognised for their efforts in the war previously – but how was he supposed to act like them when he’d never truly known them?
His overall manner was unlikely to have ever been an issue, if it wasn’t for the hellish education centre that was often called school. Having had no real experience with people around his age before – Edward found that anyone other than adults could pretty much be guaranteed to be annoying – he was already sure that his experience at Hogwarts couldn’t be anything other than painful; as may have been expected, he was right. Overall, Teddy was still glad that he’d been given the opportunity to attend such a well-respected school (although with his parentage, there was no doubt that he’d receive a placement), but it could certainly have gone more smoothly. Being sorted into Gryffindor, it didn’t take too long for the child to realise that the rest of his house were all complete idiots. Distancing himself from all of his peers, the wizard found himself isolated before he even realised it.
Fortunately, the hellish experience seemed to conclude almost as soon as it had begun. With several decent OWLS and NEWTs under his belt to assist him in getting a job, Edward wasted no time in becoming employed. There had never been many careers which had really intrigued the ex-Gryffindor, although he decided upon one that he’d been debating for a while – being a photographer. It was quite a convenient job, really: fairly well-paying, with minimal conversation necessary. Working closely with certain journalists, some of his work is likely to be recognisable – however, one would be unlikely to have any clue about who actually captured the image. That’s what he loves so much about his current job – he can hide under the radar, while still being given the ability to work on one of the few things he isn’t afraid to say he enjoys.

There had been something about the weather today that had encouraged Leonard to go on a short little excursion to a place he very rarely visited: the wilderness known as outside. Well, that wasn’t entirely true; in fact, the only reason the halfblood had decided to go on his little walk was because the majority of students had finished their classes and it was far too loud to even contemplate thinking. If there was one thing that the Gryffindor hated more than the whole idea of being outside, it was the cacophony pupils left in their wake when bored – there couldn’t possibly be anything worse than that.
Taking his stroll as seriously as he possibly could, Leonard had planned to tour through the majority of the school grounds before returning to the common room, with the hope that the other students would have calmed down by then. However, it didn’t go quite according to plan – walking past the school’s Quidditch pitch, he couldn’t help but notice it was virtually empty, with a lone student gliding around on a broom. Not really seeing how they’d possibly mind if someone sat nearby (it seemed to be the only peaceful area in the entirety of the school’s grounds, after all), Leo was just about to sit down when… well, the other student went and crashed. While they hadn’t been all that far away from the ground at this point, they’d landed directly onto their face - which had to have hurt. And since he was the only other pupil around… well, he was aware of the fact that he should probably go and ascertain that she wasn’t unconscious or dead or anything.
His brain screaming at him to stop, Leo wandered over toward the other person – he could tell from this distance that it was a girl. She was laughing, which meant she was conscious at the very least. That was a small mercy, even if it did seem slightly psychotic. “Um… areyouokay?” His quick, garbled response would just have to do. Hopefully this girl would understand it well enough: he’d never been all that great at communication, if that wasn’t obvious.

Welcome to Broomsticks & Fire! We are a post-potter rpg set in the year 2023.
Things have been pretty peaceful in the wizarding world.
That is, it was peaceful until an attack killed five aurors, one of them being Ronald Weasley,
beloved father, husband, and one third of the trio that had destroyed Lord Voldemort. Sure an auror's
job is dangerous, but to have five killed in one attack is almost unheard of anymore. It has several people
wondering if the Death Eaters are again at large. The Order of the Phoenix has been reactivated and is now being
headed by none other than Harry Potter himself, giving hope that their world can soon return to peace again.
Snow often covers the Hogwarts campus these days. Winter has begun and there is a sharp chill in the air. Better bundle up if you expect
to be going anywhere.

Happy Holidays! As a special treat we have revamped the site. If you notice anything off, let us know. Our new template is best viewed in IE and
We have re-opened the site! Hurrah! As you may have noticed, we have also added a new skin as well. "Love Struck - Second Edit" is the name of
our newest skin. We have kept the layout because it works well for the site. If you want to go back to the original skin, it should be labeled
as "Love Struck." Just a little note, the cbox may look a little out of place on that skin now as we have changed the colors to fit the new skin.
Also, if you haven't noticed. Our IC Cbox has been upgrated, so it now autorefreshes. Keep in mind that the IC is not a subsitute for threading
but a place to play in real time with your characters. Not everything (or anything) that happens in the cbox has to be part of the site plot.
