IT wasn't exactly a secret that Kinsley had a drinking problem. Well, it was, actually - but just to those that she interacted with on a daily basis like her family and co-workers. To the bartenders and regular customers of most drinking establishments in both the local muggle and wizarding communities, however, it was pretty easy to spot this problem. Every weekend (and some weekdays, depending on how her work day went), Kinsley would go to a random pub or bar and spend far too much time and money on booze there. Today was no exception, as she'd made her way to Hogsmeade for a change, since it wasn't often that she went there anymore.
THE little village was extra crowded since it was apparently one of the weekends when the Hogwarts students were allowed to visit. This made it hard to navigate through the massive throng of bodies as Kinsley headed towards The Three Broomsticks so, when she arrived there, she was unsurprised to find the building crammed full of people escaping the cold weather for a drink. Now, Kinsley normally didn't mind going into a packed pub as it made her drinking experience more lively and social. But she wasn't exactly in the greatest of moods at the moment and wanted a duller atmosphere, so she pushed her way past even more people and found herself pushing open the door to The Hog's Head instead.
SHE'D only been here once or twice in her life and wasn't too thrilled about returning, but she didn't feel like going anywhere else now that she was there. Plus, there were only three other patrons scattered around the small room so it suited her needs just fine. Kinsley went straight up to the bartender and briskly ordered a butterbeer and two shots of firewhiskey, with instructions to keep the shots coming when she was out. After she took her seat at the bar and got her drinks she took a few swigs of her butterbeer and downed one of her shots before she let out an annoyed groan and rested her head atop her arms on the bar. Her life was such a mess, yet she couldn't manage to get out of this self-destructive loop to fix it.
