MOLLY JUSTICE WEASLEY
-----BASICS-----
5'6", average,
wand:Mahogany, Phoenix tail feather, firm 10.5 inches. Dark brown with Ivory carved into handle
broom: 2022 firebolt-----PERSONALITY-----
To her parents, Molly is the perfect daughter. She does all of her homework and gets it done on time, not to mention getting amazing marks on everything, which is pretty weird for a Gryffindor. But she only does this to get her parents praise, which means absolutely everything to her. She spent most of her life trying to compete with her cousin Rose, who Molly always thought was one step ahead of her and always out did her by three points. Molly is a very academic person, and hopes to graduate with marks that her parents would be proud of, especially her father. She plans to work in the Ministry, or maybe become a reporter. But for all of that good there has to be a little bad. During her fifth year, the OWL year, Molly developed a small drinking habit. It has since become worse, and while she still keeps her marks in classes up, she also tries to find more ways of sneaking out of the castle, or smuggling taboo things in. She keeps the facade up around parents and teachers, but she's beginning to slip around classmates. Molly is also a little flirty, but hasn't ever done anything serious with a guy, though she's very curious. She's also pretty stubborn and knows what she wants. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself or others - traits that probably got her into Gryffindor.-----history-----
On July 23rd, Percy and Audrey Weasley had their very first child – a baby girl with bright red hair. They named her Molly, after Percy's mother. Molly was an adorable little girl and the perfect addition to their family. She was almost immediately showing signs of magic, although it wasn't anything big and neither parent had doubted that their child would be a witch. Either because they just wanted a bigger family, or because Molly just wasn't enough, or perhaps it was an accident, a year later Molly got a sibling. Another baby girl, this one with their mother's dark hair. Growing up, Molly had very mixed feelings about her younger sister. She tried to tell herself that her parents hadn't had another baby because Molly wasn't enough, but she couldn't get over the fact that they were just so close in age. To make up for this, Molly did her best to be everything any parent could ever want. She did chores, got any homework (when she was that age) done on time and studied hard so that she could get perfect marks. She truly loved her sister more than anything in the world, but she also felt like she wasn't good enough to have been an only child. What could her parents have possibly wanted from her?
Right on schedule, Molly's acceptance letter from Hogwarts came. She was beyond excited to be going to the school that her parents went to, and that her cousins were going to. Everyone expected her to be in Ravenclaw because she worked so hard at just about everything, but she was pleasantly surprised to be put into Gryffindor. It was a little upsetting when she found out that Rose, her cousin, was put into Ravenclaw, but Molly convinced herself that she didn't want to be put into a place where everyone only studied. It also spurred the academic rivalry in Molly. She has never known if Rose knew about this, but Molly always felt like she had to outdo her cousin.
During Molly's third year, she tried out for Quidditch. She did not make the team, but that didn't stop her from enjoying the game. She finally made the team her fourth year. She also started to date her fourth year, although that was no real surprise since everyone around her was starting to notice other people. During her years she had a few boyfriends, but none that really stuck.
Her fifth year was when her life practically completely turned. She was too concerned about her owls and someone suggested she drink a little to relax. Normally she wouldn't have tried such a thing – just say no and all of that. But she was desperate for some relaxation and took the first sip of firewhiskey that she had ever had. It became her tool to get through the terms. Ever so slowly the amount she drank increased. She was constantly trying to find ways out of the castle or bringing some back with her. She was able to successfully keep the information from her parents and teachers, but she is in her seventh year now and her behavior is just a little different from what it used to be. She's terrified that someone will find out her little secret.
