history:
Danielle Claire Nott was born on a cool September evening, just a few minutes after her twin brother Damien. much to the delight of their overbearing father; who would have been horribly disappointed if she had come first. He had always wanted a boy that in his mind would be the Family legacy. She was a happy child growing up just outside Godric's Hollow. The Nott's were well off in the wizardry world so Danielle grew up getting anything she could have ever wanted. The twins were definitely more than enough for their parents; Theodore and Daphne Nott. Both Danielle and her twin were showing powers early in age and it was quite apparent that both would be attending a wizarding school one day and their parents made sure nothing was a miss in making the preparations for their children early on in their lives.
Danielle's mother always had told her she was an extremely gifted toddler. she grew up admiring her father and quickly took an interest in the dark arts. Both she and her twin brother were raised to look down on anyone who was not like them and to always honor the family name. While Damien spent much of his time reading, Dani preferred to learn things by action. She fell in love with writing and spent much of her time doing so. Both she and her twin were taught how play quidditch and fly. While she enjoyed both, she loved to fly much more. She adored the freedom it held.
She received her letter to attend Hogwarts shortly after her eleventh birthday. The had been much debate about whether or not her twin would be attending with her. Her parent were adment about sending him to Durmstrang but Damien seemed intent on going with her. They were close in every since of the word. Her Arrival at the castle of Hogwarts held much anticipation and nervousness but her sorting into Slytherin only furthered her sense of belonging. Her first was perhaps the most magical of all years. she supposed it was that way for most first years. Everything was bright and new and she thoroughly enjoy every second of it. Her twin was also sorted into the same house which made her very happy. She tried out for the quidditch team but sadly didn't make it.
Her second year went by in much the same manner being very normal .She had gained some new friends and also during this year finally earned a spot on the Slytherin Quidditch team as a chaser. She was thrilled and for once her father seemed happy about something I did. It was a pretty uneventful year besides the studying and classes. Perhaps the hardest part was trying to keep a balance between school work and fun.
Third year things in Danielle's life drastically changed. Her father disappeared without a trace. No note, no nothing it was as thought he no longer existed. She was angry at him for leaving them alone, for thinking that his son; her twin who had severe anxiety issues could possible manage to be the man of the house in his absence, let alone at the age of thirteen. It was an extremely difficult time for their family. Danielle spent much of her time tryingto help her brother by doing things for herself as much as she could. after all she was a very determined young teenager. She never liked people fussing over her. Both she and her brother wondered if their mother knew anything about their father's disappearance. The biggest impact his absence had on their family pretty much fell on her brother as he tried to struggle to keep things normal for her.
A year later her father returned and for once things were back to normal, whatever that meant. It upset Danielle that her father would leave them without any explanation and then waltz back into their life as if nothing had changed. Of course everything had changed. She didn't understand how he expected them to be okay with that and often lived in fear it would happened again. Was this something that would keep happening regularly? she didn't know.
She kept trying to question her father about it and for years he refused to say that anything had changed and it angered and frustrated her more. Finally during her sixth year the family learned exactly what he had been doing all that time and things clicked for the girl. At least she finally had an explanation as to his absence and Danielle found it easier to accept than her twin did but she fully believed that Damien would come around in his own time.
Danielle always felt that her family was destined for greatness but she never imagined that her father would become the new leader nor that her brother would join him. It fascinated and frightened her at the same time. Now in her seventh year, things have gotten much darker and her father will stop at nothing to give her brother the dark mark, to recruit him for the army. Danielle is sure he will come around. She truly believe her brother will make the right decision but is her belief the right now?- - - - - - -

Tonight was it! Hermione and the order had been planning his escape and he had only recently came to know that knowledge. it has been enough to make Harry's head spin. Of course they're was the fact that His best friend had been keeping secrets from him, secrets that could have got her killed if Voldemort or the death eaters suspected anything. Why did people always try to shelter him from everything? It was bloody frustrating. Still, he couldn’t blame Hermione; they had made her promise not to say anything and for good reason really if he actually thought about it. It didn’t make him any less upset about the entire secrecy thing. Harry might have spent the day in classes and yet his mind could have been further from whatever was being taught. He had to figure this out; there were about a million reasons why this escape was a bad idea. Still it was going down tonight but the raven haired boy could not tame his growing nerves.
Realistically it was a bad idea for the golden trio to be separated from each other. They were stronger together. Not that it would do them a bit of good unless they actually managed to get out of Hogwarts. Honestly everything that had been going on just made hm want to crawl into bed and never come out. How did things get so complicated? The green eyed wizard had asked himself the question many times over. It hung over his head like a rain cloud ready to burst. Truth was there was no simple answer to the group’s plight. The challenges of Harry's world had begun to weigh down on him and she knew now with a chilling certainty that he didn’t know the answers, any of them, in fact. Harry used to think he had a sense of direction, purpose, a try hard attitude to shine to that level of excellence that had been thrusted upon him so long, but he had finally deduced that he was nothing more than anyone else- crashing through this life, trying to find something to help hold his head above water. The fallout of the choices he had made last year is a mantle that only grows darker and more nuanced with age. And Harry must live with the consequences of his mistakes for eternity. Everything had changed. In nearly seventeen short years, Harry bore witness to more tragedy than anyone should—and been the cause of far too much of it.
Harry sat perched atop the sofa; staring absently into the fireplace in the Gryffindor Common room. It had occurred to the raven haired boy that this was the last time he would be seeing this place; he would no longer walk the corridors or sit in the great hall with his best friends. He would no longer be seeing Ginny or Neville, or Luna and who knew just what this looming war had in store for them. It was a sacrifice and one that Harry Potter was determined to make. He was ready to die; if it meant that his friends were safe. Everything else was irrelevant compared to that truth. Ron's voice broke through the consuming silence of the common room. All the others had gone to bed and it had just been the two of them. The both had pretty much sat in silence; neither exactly knowing what to say and lost within their own consuming thoughts. Ron chuckled at Ron's comment about Hermione and her time keeping; it was just like him to make a joke when things were dire. Harry slowly stood up from the couch; he pulled out his own wand and walked over to Ron at the door. "Let's just make it out of this in one piece okay mate?" he clapped a hand on Ron's shoulder with a nod as they exited the common room. Keeping a look out; Harry could see that the coast was clear at least for the moment. He and Ron were suppose to meet Hermione and Tonks in the charms classroom before heading to the the statue of the humped witch which would lead them out of Hogwarts for good. Harry had bad feeling he couldn't shake as he slowly crept his way to the staircase that would begin their journey to the third floor. "Everything is clear here. let's go" he whispered looking at Ron; gesturing for him to follow before he began to descend down the stairs. Things were quiet and looking good for now but it was still early in their plan stage and the two wizards were not in the clear yet.
