"Lo-Lo-Lola.... Nananana- girls will be boys and boys will be girls..." Usually Dahlia wasn't one for muggle sort of music - but sometimes she found herself drowning in the tunes. It was relaxing, sadly; it took her to a whole different world. A place where she could be alone with her own self and not dwell on day by day stressful issues. -- A loud knock came to her bedroom door sending Dahl in a panic. Her heart skipping beats as she struggled to shut the small stereo off. 'Dahlia Louise!' After struggling with the small stubborn button, she had finally gave in and pulled the cord from the wall shoving the small juke box under her pillow. "Yes mother?" Dahlia kept her eyes glued to that door. Her hands clasped behind her back. 'I am leaving with your father.' Thank goodness. That would be the last and final time she played her music that loud. She had to realize how big the Nott manor was. Anyone would be able to hear that music throughout those bare halls.
Slipping a warm sweater on, Dahlia had finally rounded herself up and got dressed. Enough of her small lounging party, she had to see her brother before he had decided to take off once again and fail to speak with her. -- She needed his company; his presence. -Quickly, she slipped from her bedroom and continued down the spacious hallway leading herself to the staircase. A small rustling noise came from the family room. "Damie! Are you down there? Not even bothering to listen for a response, Dahlia hurried down the stairs and slid gracefully around the corner. The hardwood flooring making the slide perfect. - Her smile had soon faded as she had realized one of the house elves dusting the mantle. Her gut turning as she had felt she had missed him once again.
Dahlia took in a deep breath; her eyes saddened at the thought of her brother leaving and not speaking a word to her. -- Dropping herself on one of the family sofa's, Dahl began to play with a small string that had hung from her sweater. Lately, she had seen a change in her brother. He was no longer happy and outgoing like he had been before. Damien was slolwly beginning to shut himself off from her. Why? She was unsure. Perhaps she had done something? Or, he was beginning to feel the lonliness of leaving Hogwarts. But, other than that she did not know. - Letting out a big sigh, Dahl heard a few footstep come from behind her. Not bothering to look, she kept her head low.
