Farrah always enjoyed the weekends. It was generally her time, time she could work on her own designs instead of what her boss wanted. But it was also a time that she really had to herself and could go visit Hogsmeade and by chance help a student still attending the school nearby. She remembered the days she attended, she only have been graduated for the last couple years. But she made some good connections, and she hated leaving them hanging.
As she entered the village, she found herself hoping it was a visiting weekend for the students as she walked down the village lane. Her target for today was the three broomsticks. She carefully opened the door and nodded to the familiar waitress, silenting requesting a butterbeer as she headed to her normal table with a small click click of her heels before she seated herself and smiled and offered a small "thank you" as her drink was delivered.
As she sat there she found herself semi paying attention to the hubbub around her. Things weren't really interesting today, but there was nothing there to actually keep her attention. She would occasionally catch a mumble or two of nearby conversation, but it was nothing that she could bring herself to focus on. She tended to watch the commotion around her, she never knew why, but she did, and today was glad that her mind was not focused on anything around her. But she had more than enough trouble to focus on in her own life, unaware that someone was approaching her table.

The Ravenclaw girl was ready to get out of the castle. It felt like ages since the last Hogsmeade weekend and Jess was planning to make the most of it. Though her outfit wasn't particularly fancy, she thought she looked decent as she checked herself once over in the mirror. Maybe not fancy, but it covered the bruises and scratches that she was still recovering from after the last full moon, and it did look good on her. At least, she thought so. Her jeans hugged the right places and the plaid top over the black tank was just the right amount of casual, in her opinion. She breathed a laugh to herself. Jessica was, by no means, a fashionista. She didn't get into the whole brand names thin and her clothing was obviously more muggle than witch-like. She was well aware that as far as looks went, she couldn't even begin to compare to some of the other girls, even if she hadn't had the injuries that came along with being a werewolf. But she liked to look as good as she could.
One last look in the mirror and a pat to Mavrick's head (the darn cat decided it wanted to be up her bum the entire day, apparently) and she was off. She had expected the walk to the wizarding village to take forever since she was so excited to get into town, but it felt more like just a few minutes. Once she finally stopped long enough to catch her breath she realized that she had run to Hogsmeade instead of walked. Well, if people didn't think the werewolf thing made her weird already, the fact that she had run for apparently no reason certainly would do the trick. Oh well, might as well make the best of it. First she ran to the post office to send a couple of owls, one to Charlie and one to Kieran, to let them know that she was already out of the castle. That thought had completely skipped her mind when she had been getting ready. She didn't need to do it to check in, but she hated to think that her best friend and boyfriend would be waiting for her if they thought she was still asleep or something. Though knowing Kieran, he'd probably just get a Ravenclaw to give him the password and find a way to get into the girl's dorm.
With her owls sent, Jessica made her way to The Three Broomsticks. It was very cozy inside. She ordered a butterbeer and took a look around. She was about to just sit at the bar when someone caught her eye. A bright smile lit up her face and she walked over to Farrah. “Hey,” she said with a light tone. “Mind if I join you or are you waiting for someone?” She didn't want to get in the way of any of Farrah's plans.

(Sorry for no table...phone doesn't agree with coding)
Farrah tended to enjoy quiet moments, ones where and could sit back and just watch the hustle and bustle of those around her without having to be an actual part of it like she at the shop. Seeing a few old schoolmates she gave a nod or a wave before they went off to go about their business. Which and didn't mind all to much, she knew eventually there would be someone that wouldn't mind talking to her.
Another reason she usually chose the Three Broomsticks over most other places was it wasn't deafening loud to her, as some places has been known to be, just because they were so popular. Farrah would still occasionally frequent this places too, just not as much. She couldn't help but know probably more than she should about some people. Darn vampire senses. Hearing a 'hey' spoken, she looked up and smiled.
"Hey to you to." she mentioned with a light chuckle. "Nope, just sitting here enjoying a drink alone. To which your welcome to join." She told the younger female. Farrah could relate to the young wolf. Being of the non human category herself. But she usually enjoyed the company. "How have your lessons been going?" Though and was already a graduate and in the working world, she still felt a connection to certain people and always wanted to make sure they were doing okay.

It was nice to see the vampire. Jessica wasn't exactly fond of being a werewolf and it helped to be around someone who wasn't exactly entirely human either. She knew she was lucky, not everyone hated her for what she was. In fact, she knew that her boyfriend thought it was sort of intriguing, but she couldn't help but wish that she wasn't a werewolf. Her life would be a lot easier if she were just human. It was part of the reason she worked so hard as she did at her studies. She wanted to get a job at St. Mungo's and find an actual cure for her condition. She didn't want to have to disappear every full moon and wonder if the Wolfsbane Potion was going to work or not. Or as well as it could on her anyway. It was supposed to help her maintain some sort of humanity while she was, well not human. It didn't work that way. She was able to remember more when the night was over, but sometimes she wished that she could forget it. It would be easier on her mind, maybe, if she could just forget it. Or maybe she was wrong. Maybe the not-knowing what she'd done would be worse. Either way she was still a monster. She went out into the forest far enough that she didn't think she would run into anyone, but who knew anymore? The students weren't exactly as afraid of the Forbidden Forest as they should have been. And she still came back with bruises and cuts. It made her wonder what Kieran found in her that he liked. He could do a lot better.
Jessica's smile never wavered while all of this was going through her head. She took a seat and then a sip of her butterbeer. “Thanks. I left the school kind of early and I'm not really sure who all is going to make it out today. I was too anxious to get out of the castle.” She took another drink and listened to Farrah's question. “Oh, school is fine. I think my marks will be more than good enough to get into St. Mungo's. I'm very excited about it, actually.” She gave her friend another smile. “How are things with you? Have you been really busy?”

Farrah has always been fond of the younger werewolf, not just because they were both only part human, but she felt something else about the younger woman that drew her in, and no, it wasn't blood. Farrah refused to allow herself to be overruled by her bloodlust, keeping her self in check by getting blood from the specialized blood banks set up for those like her. She couldn't help but smile as she listened to Jessica. She knew the girl had high hopes, but she wasn't about to hold that agaisnt her. "that's great to hear. I know you'd be amazing at anything you set your mind to." She told her lightly before taking a small drink of her chosen drink.
If Farrah wasn't so into fashion she might have done something like what Jessica is striving for. "I am sadly keeping very busy most days. But hopefully it will pay off soon enough with opening my own shop." She had always wanted to have her own shop. Her current boss was a bitch, and Farrah only tolerated her, she was determined to keep her job for now. But there would be the day she could the woman to shove her job somewhere not very pleasant. She let her attention turned back to Jessica.
"And the boy front? Still going good?" She was always curious. She lacked in her own relationship, but oddly found comfort in knowing others weren't failing as miserably as she was. She hoped things for Jessica were still good, she wasn't fond of watching those she was fond of suffer in the love department. She took a sip of her drink as waited on Jessica to answer.

Jessi blushed a little at the compliment. Even though she knew she was a pretty smart girl (she was in Ravenclaw so she had to be) she was still a little awkward with compliments. She got them from her friends and from her mother. On their good days she got them from Kieran as well. But it was still a little awkward. She was a werewolf that had bruises more times than not, a brain dedicated to finding a cure for her condition, and had a pretty quirky personality from time to time. Not to mention her best friend Charlie was a sixth year Hufflepuff with a tendency to lean toward the naïve side who brought out the overly cheery side in Jessica. “Thanks. I really hope I can become a Healer and find a cure. I mean, I doubt I’ll find it alone or quickly, but it would be great for young werewolves to have a choice in being normal.” She didn’t mean for it to sound bad, but it just naturally came out that way. Still, the Ministry wasn’t too keen on counting werewolves as equals and Jessica knew from her own experiences that being a werewolf wasn’t great.
“Well be sure to send me an owl with the location of your shop so I can be a customer.” She gave her friend a smile and took a drink of her butterbeer. She was glad that Farrah was keeping herself busy. She liked that the girl was doing something that she loved. But really, what was the point in doing something that you weren’t passionate about? It only made sense that Farrah would do something with fashion.
Another blush came to Jessica’s face. “Yeah, I’m with Kieran again. And… I mean I think we’re okay. We’re pretty happy. Then again we’re always happy when things are going well. It’s when things get bad that, well obviously we get bad.” She bit on her bottom lip. “And you? Anyone in your life recently?” She gave Farrah another smile despite the fact that her cheeks felt warm.

Farrah noticed the blush that came to the lycans cheeks, she couldn't help it brought a smile to Farrah, she hated seeing others around her being upset. She nodded before she parted her lips re ply. "Everything worth having or doing always takes time." She of course knew this first hand. She was still working on being able to open her own shop. Something she had been planning on since she was younger vampire. "And one day you will succeed in helping others that suffer and not just yourself. My kind aren't going to be so lucky." She mentioned with a smile that never left her face. She wasn't ashamed of or hated what she was, now that she was in control, it was quite fun in her opinion.
"I most certainly will!" She replied to sending Jessica the address when she gets her shop open. "I'm hoping to find a spot to start soon, working for someone else kinda blows, especially when you work for the bitch of fashion." She mentioned with a giggle. She really disliked her boss, and they butted heads numerous times. Each time ended with Farrah keeping her job amid threats of being fired. They both knew how could she was, and her bosses shop would fail without her.
Farrah let the conversation draw her attention back as Jessica spoke of her relationship. "I'm glad to hear you two are together again. You two are adorable together." She wanted to offer relationship advice to her young friend, but she really never had that type of relationship with anyone. She only seemed capable of the friend with benefits, if you could even call him that, the two were almost constantly fighting over trivial things. "No one solid for me, seems a vampire is the more undesirable type." She mentioned with a laugh. She never let not having a partner bother her, she couldn't, she had more important things to focus on.
